F.A.Q - POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATES 

A Police Clearance Certificate is valid for six months from the date a reflected on the official stamp on the document. 

Normal processing with SAPS can take up to 6-8 weeks.

We can apply to expediate the service.

• Expediated processing at SAPS will take 5 to 7 business days.
• If you have a prior conviction or criminal background, processing may take longer.
• Courier time not included 

Reprints are allowed for request before 3 months of date stamp on the PCC. Applicant will need to redo fingerprints and reapply once the 3 month validity has expired.

• Complete the Application Form

You will need to fill in details such as all names you have been known by, residential address, date and place of birth and contact details.

• Documents Collection

We will collect your application at your home or work address, or you can upload the documents online. We start your expedited facilitation of your PCC at the criminal record centre the day after receiving your original documents.

• Receive your National Police Clearance Certificate

We deliver your completed PCC to your home or work address, provided that it is not an outline or regional area.
